Football Is Everything

I love the new Nike ad campaign. Watching Urlacher walk up for the coin toss and say "We got these guys" as he towers over the other high school players is hilarious.

Talking about Urlacher, Da Bears. The start of the NFL season is always a happy time. The Wife and I plan our Sundays around watching our home town Bears take the field. (I also am forced to go to dingy bars or hover over the computer in the hopes of keeping up with the Bengals). It's nice that da Bears are doing so well. I may have to change my tune of only rooting for the defense.

Ohio State is also playing pretty well, but we'll have to see how they handle the start of their Big Ten schedule. Because after Saturday Michigan is looking pretty tough. (Those of you expecting a knock on Notre Dame are going to have to wait. Due to an off-season deal with JBR, I am rooting for ND and Villanova except for those times it negatively affects OSU. Come on it's JBR. Granted I am working on my treatment for NBC about a sitcom where two brothers in their late 20's early 30's live with their Dad during the week).

The R.W.I.P house party has been talked about enough, so I have no comment except that the Wife and I did not stay that long and BK makes a very good Lynchburg lemonade.

The Wife played team mom for Public News Team. Public News Team is BK and I's fall league team. The Wife showed up with Capri Suns, Orange Slices and Old Style. (You can guess which one I like best).
