Droppin' Bombs

Team Kablooey, finally, got a win last night. Final score 15-4. Despite the wind, the deep game was really working and our zone did what it needed to do. My personal highlight was catching a score, something that rarely happens. (More likely throwing them). Got a good read on a high floaty hammer and came down with it. (Yes, my feet may have even left the ground). We were done early (for us) and got to Piece while there was still pizza.

Looking forward to world cup quarters and annoucers repeatedly saying "Kaka". Still need to write about the Knicks, maybe I'll do a whole NBA draft breakdown a la Sports Guy.

nba draft night is one of my favorite nights of the year (not being a die hard fan of anything, save Apple). I loved the Blazers movement. It was almost good enough, with the built in drama, for me to agree with the sports guy to stop doing the draft diary, however, the commentary has been less than spectacular, probably because it doesn't need it.

Now comes the off season, and any all drama and trades that happen. Just curious to see who picks up Jay Williams.

One other draft comment: I want the Jazz to trade for Luther Head to complete the UofI three guard. Has there ever been another set of players that played together in an NCAA title game that went on to be teammates in the NBA?
